International Medical Service Procedure
We provide consultation and assistance on medical tourism for international patients to enable patients and their families to receive the following complete medical services:
| STEP 1. | Provide medical consultation for patients who come to Taiwan for hernia treatment. |
| STEP 2. | Consolidate and manage the documents required for international patients before they come to Taiwan for medical treatment (including diagnostic report and medical evaluation form from another place). |
| STEP 3. | Make an appointment for outpatient consultation, physical examination, surgery and return visit time for patients. |
| STEP 4. | Prepare patient medical certificate documents, such as the registration form, diagnostic certificates, and medical records. |
If you are planning to come to Taiwan for hernia surgery, please pay attention to the following items:
| ITEM 1. | Since the medical treatment process includes outpatient consultation, physical examination, surgery and return visit, it is recommended that international patients stay in Taiwan for at least seven days. (except for special circumstances) |
| ITEM 2. | On the night before the surgery, the patient should follow the instructions of the nurse specialist, pay attention to preoperative fasting and take medication. |
The standard medical procedure for hernia surgery in Taipei is as follows:
| Day 1 | Provide outpatient consultation and physical examination. |
| Day 2 | Receive hernia surgery. |
| Day 2 or 3 | Discharge (If the patient comes to Taiwan for the treatment alone, it is recommended to stay in the hospital for one night.)Make an appointment for outpatient consultation, physical examination, surgery and return visit time for patients. |
| Day 7 | Return visit to take out stitches and check the wound (if patient needs to leave Taiwan early, please ask the doctor to check the wound healing condition and decide to leave Taiwan two to four days after the surgery) |
